Chronic over-accommodation is not a moral flaw or a behavioral habit; it is a hardwired, evolutionary defense mechanism designed to secure group belonging and neutralize perceived social threats. This relentless monitoring is mediated by an overstimulated Reticular Activating System (RAS) working alongside mirror-neuron networks.
