What traits should you possess to be a grown up?

To be educated.

And I’m not talking about formal education. Formal education only goes so far.

Today, I watched an amazing video from Bob Proctor.
In it, he describes the meaning of the word “education.”

It comes from the Latin word from ēducō, meaning “to induce, to draw out or to develop from within.”

“An educated person is a one that knows how to go and get what they want out of life.”

And that’s what every grown up should possess.

The ability to find out what they want and get it without hurting others.

That is what being educated means.

Sadly, the education system doesn’t really focus on this kind of education. Instead, lots of inapplicable theorem and a grade system that blocks individual thinking.

Part of being educated is having a positive attitude. Attitudes decide our self-image.

“Whether you think you can, or you think you can't--you're right.” -Henry Ford

Doubts are normal. They’ll always be there.
Even Elon Musk says: “It’s not like I don’t feel any fear… I certainly wish I felt fear less.”

Shit will always happen. It’s on you to kick the negative thoughts away and focus on the positive things.

When your car breaks down, your partner breaks up with you or you lose your job…

Look for the good. You may not find it at first, but it’s there.

The law of Polarity states that every thing has two poles.

Left-Right. Yin-Yang. Sad-Happy. Broken-Working

A bad incident in your life can have an equal or greater upside to it. You might need to find it, but it is there.

There are positive and negative thoughts in our minds.

When the thoughts flow into your mind, you decide which ones to keep.

You can literally kick the bad thoughts out, and abandon them.
By affirming to yourself that you are not these thoughts, and that you’re greater, you can achieve your goals.

Think of the positive pole, and your life shall be greater.

Tony Robbins, most-popular Life & Career Coach in the world says:
“Success is 80% Psychology and 20% Mechanics.”

Life is a Mind Game

Everything in life is decided by our attitude.

Sadly, school doesn’t teach us the positive Mindset so we have to learn it ourselves.

Read books about Success. Listen to videos like this.
Practice Meditation. Find the positive, then focus on it.
Dream your dreams and let them drive you. Live like it’s your last day.

Every grown up should be educated and positive towards their life.
